This program will expose children to an actual working pottery studio where they will use the wheel, handbuilding, glazing and other pottery making methods. Students explore handbuilding construction techniques, experiment with shapes and texture as well as try basic techniques for throwing cylinders and bowls on the wheel. Children with previous experience will be challenged with advanced pottery techniques. All classes are taught by our accomplished artist/teachers. One to one attention will be given to each student.

Wheel Students will be taught the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, trimming and glazing.
