In Carroll Gardens Studio OnlyStudents will be exposed to the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, trimming, and glazing. With handbuilding/sculpturing, students will learn how to make functional pottery with slab, coil and pinching techniques. Each class will be a small setting of 5-9 students and each student will receive individualized instructions according to his or her interests, experience and skill level by our accomplished artist/teachers.
Various decorating techniques will be taught and will determine the amount of time as to when your potter ywill be finished after firing. Most pottery pieces will be ready for pick up two weeks after your session has ended.
For Ages 8-15 Only
Cost Is $350 Per Week, Monday Through Thursday
Price includes own tools set and all firing fees.
Workshops Run From 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Students must bring own lunch. Students must register in advance. There will be no make-up classes, credits or refunds if child misses a workshop or if clay project is damaged in firing beyond our control.
